My wife actually stumbled across this preview for the British comedy Alan Partridge, which is based on a popular British TV series starring comedian Steve Coogan. In Britain.
The flick is ready to debut stateside on VOD Feb. 27, so Magnolia Pictures crafted this rather hilarious trailer to introduce the character to North American audience. In my opinion, having never watched the BBC series, it's pretty damn successful.
When famous DJ Alan Partridge's radio station is taken over by a new media conglomerate, it sets in motion a chain of events which see Alan having to work with the police to defuse a potentially violent siege.
Declan Lowney directs, with Star Trek: The Next Generation's Colm Meaney starring alongside Coogan. I think I'll hit this up when it lands later this month. British humour is the best.
